He has held executive roles including VP Customer Solutions - eShare, VP Sales / Marketing - eAssist, CEO - Goowy, VP Products AOL, and is currently the CEO of Assistly. Alex is also an advisor / investor in several start-ups including StayClassy, Watercooler inc, Offandaway, Foodzie, Irata labs (acquired by IGN), etc. Alex has lived all over the world including NY, Toronto, London, LA, and currently splits time between San Francisco and San Diego. |

Howard Ziment has over 22 years experience as a senior business executive and strategic marketer. He spent the first 20 years of his career growing and running The Ziment Group which he sold to the WPP Group in 2001. The company was the third largest company of its kind in the world when he left it at the end of 2006. Today it is known as Kantar Health, which after its merger with TNS Healthcare in 2009 is now the largest healthcare strategic consulting\marketing research organization in the world. Ziment serves as the Non-Executive Chairman to this day.

Tom Klenke brings over 20 years of experience in evolving markets and technologies. Prior to Stemgent, Tom founded and was President of eClass Direct an internet marketing services company. Tom and his colleague sold eClass Direct to E.piphany. Tom ran E.piphany's application services business until 2002. Tom now serves as an Executive VIce President for the stem cell reagent company Stemgent. Tom received his MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School, and his BS in Engineering from Renselear Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Mr. Walbert serves on the Board of Directors of XOMA Ltd., the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), the Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization (iBIO) and the Greater Chicago Arthritis Foundation. Mr. Walbert received his B.A. in business from Muhlenberg College, in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
