The SAMFund would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who has become part of our Grand Plan to help young adult survivors.  Thanks to your overwhelming generosity and support, we raised over $9,000 - all of which will go directly to grants this fall!

This money will provide help with living expenses, medical bills, prescription co-pays, insurance premiums and so much more, for at least 9 (and maybe more!) young adults who are struggling to get back on their feet after cancer treatment.  The benefits, though, go far beond just the financial assistance -- these grants will provide some breathing room for them and renewed confidence in their ability to move forward after this life-changing, and financially devastating, disease.  Instead of feeling the pressure of ongoing expenses and drained savings accounts, they will be able to focus their energy on staying healthy and strong.
