Acreditar – Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Cancer – is a Private Social Welfare Institution created in 1993 as a result of a national movement by parents of children, users of the pediatric oncology services.

Our motto reflects the projects philosophy: “Care for the child with cancer and not only the cancer within the child”. Therefore our activities aim is to support the daily life of children with cancer and their families by promoting a positive atmosphere of hope, which is essential for dealing with this illness.
