AARP Foundation

The AARP Foundation is AARP's charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all as we age. We lead positive social change and deliver value to those 50+ with an emphasis on those at social and economic risk. The AARP Foundation shares a common vision with AARP: A society in which everyone ages with dignity and purpose and in which the AARP Foundation helps people fulfull their goals and dreams. The Foundation is committed to helping the most vulnerable members of our society: accordingly low-income individuals, women, and minorities are primary audiences for the Foundation.Foundation programs are funded by grants, tax-deductible contributions from AARP members and the general public and AARP. The Foundation continues to administer grants from federal government agencies as well as private organizations and receive partial support from AARP for programs like SCSEP and Tax-Aide. The Foundation has greatly expanded its capacity to raise additional funds from individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies.
