Mama Hope has worked with local partners in every project location to increase food security with a variety of innovative agricultural and domestic solutions: drip irrigation, greenhouses, water boreholes, bag gardens, kitchen gardens, tree nurseries, community plots and more. Everything from pineapples to tomatoes to aloe and kale have been grown and consumed at these project sites to add to the daily nutritional content of each meal. We also have a thriving partnership with the company Yes to. Yes to is supporting gardens across Kenya and Tanzania that are planted adjacent to schools to supplement daily meals. The gardens are managed by environmental clubs and an exchange program is burgeoning with school gardens Yes to supports across the US. Thank you for supporting our Garden projects!
