Include Autism is a San Diego based nonprofit organization that runs the Community Coaching program (formerly CCC). The Community Coaching program is a social behavior skills coaching program for school-aged kids and teens diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The CC program implements evidence-based practices with program participants that require a broad range of functional communication and behavior support. The skills involved in building reciprocal, meaningful relationships in relevant, peer-rich community settings are broken down and rebuilt in order to develop an increased social awareness and independence. The Community Coaching program utilizes a unique, multi-disciplinary approach to ABA instruction and social behavior coaching that focuses on generalizing skills across a multitude of environments, under a variety of naturally occurring conditions to help our program participants more independently navigate and be actively included in their own community.
