GAIO World
GAIO was started by one woman to help bridge the world through communication & education. We are committed to improving literacy & education in Africa and our first project is to finish building a modern Library to improve the lives & futures of the children of Akwatia, Ghana.
Together with the Regional Chief of Akwatia, Nana Akwatiahene, we are facilitating the construction of a Library & Cultural Center for the 20,000 children in the region as well as the 35,000 adults who need to improve their literacy and job skills. GAIO is committed to raising the $90,000 to build the center. We are committed to using renewable energy, local resources and incorporating eco friendly building practices.
