Project Medishare
1 in every 5 kids die before they reach the age of 5. The leading causes of death for kids are dirty water and starvation. Most kids don't have access to clean water, food, education or medical care. This is the reality for too many children in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, where Project Medishare has been working to MAKE A CHANGE for over 17 years. Last year, we saved the lives of over 50,000 children that were crushed and injured in the deadly Haiti earthquake. We continue to save very sick premature babies and kids everyday in our ICU Hospital, which is the only one in the whole country. We are putting legs back on kids that lost limbs in the earthquake, and teaching them how to run and play again. Today in Haiti, we serve hundreds of thousands of children by providing education, clean water, food, medical care, and opportunity.
