The Standard Club hosts Bright Pink’s High Tea Celebration and Benefit
Ladies and gentlemen, dress in your Sunday best and join Bright Pink for an afternoon of celebration, inspiration and tea! On Sunday, July, 15th, 2012, from 1 – 4 p.m., Bright Pink is hosting the 5th annual “For the Women We Love,” a high tea celebration and benefit at The Standard Club to honor young, courageous women whose lives have been touched by breast and ovarian cancer.
The elegant affair will commence with music by a live harpist in The Standard Club’s Grand Ballroom. Guests will enjoy tea service, finger sandwiches, and accompanying desserts followed by a program emceed by NBC’s Alicia Roman and CelebTV’s Kelli Zink. Highlights of the program include live entertainment from former Broadway performer, Laurie Akers, an educational presentation by a local breast and ovarian health specialist, and the opportunity to hear from young women whose lives have been touched by Bright Pink. Guests will also have the opportunity to get professional group photos with the women they love on a “bright pink” couch, which will be available for immediate purchase on-site.
Tickets are available at $75 for an individual, or $1,000 for a table seating 10-12.
