"The C.U.R.E. Ride is meant to provide hope to people affected or carriers of LHON.  Since it's hereditary I'm hoping that we can find a cure in the near future so that my Mom, little sister, and little brother don't have to live in fear of going blind like I did" - Jeremy Poincenot

WHERE: Tour of Southern California
 
WHY: Jeremy lost his central vision and became legally blind 3 years ago due to a rare hereditary disease called Leber's Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON). Since LHON currently has no cure which has given us the opportunity to raise as much money and awareness as possible to hopefully help cure LHON.
 
HOW WILL THE MONEY HELP? The money raised on the ride will benefit Dr. Alfredo Sadun of the Doheny Eye Institute.  Dr. Sadun is on the cutting-edge of research working to find a cure for LHON.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to improve the lives of others by creating awareness and an exciting yet productive fundraiser aimed at raising money to help researchers find a cure.

We are committed to help find a cure as quickly as possible to prevent the future suffering of Jeremy's siblings, LHON afflicted siblings, and other carriers of the disease.
