Make-A-Wish® Tuna Challenge

Welcome to the Make-A-Wish Tuna Challenge, the largest tuna fishing tournament in the continental United States and the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego. Since 1991, the Tuna Challenge has raised more than $2.2 million to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
If you will be fishing on a Private Boat or a Charter Boat you may register your boat by selecting the amount of anglers in the top right corner.
Important Dates
Tournament- Early Entry Deadline: Friday, July 27th
Pre-Tournament Seminar: Thursday, August 23rd, 7PM
Captain's Meeting: Friday, September 7th, 6PM
Tuna Challenge Tournament: Saturday, September 8th, 5AM
Awards Banquet & Auction: Sunday, September 9th, 10AM
