About Achilles Hope and Possibility
This event brings athletes with disabilities and able-bodied athletes together in a celebration of running. Raffles, free t-
shirts for kids, give promise of a great day in the park! Best of all- every KEEN athlete will get to participate for free! For adults to run the race, there is a fee and you will need to register HERE.

Ways to Get Involved
There are many ways to support KEEN New York in the Achilles Hope and Possibility Race!
- Sign your child up to participate in the race! All children are able to compete (please e-mail Nichole at [email protected] to get an application)
- Create a fundraising page and spread the word about our cause while raising money (raise $25 or more and get a KEEN shirt)
- Volunteer to help a KEEN athlete cross the finish line (please e-mail Nichole at [email protected] if you are interested- you also get a KEEN shirt for your hard work)
- If you are an adult, sign up to run the race and join us in the 5 mile adventure (raise $25 or more and get a KEEN shirt)!
- Or simply donate to help us continue to help children with special needs have fun!
Join us after the race at the Boat Basin (West 79th Street) for brunch! No need to attend the race to join us. Please e-mail Nichole ([email protected]) for more information or simply show up there at 11am.
About KEEN New York
KEEN is a national, nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. Neither income nor the severity of a child's disability is a barrier to joining a KEEN program.
