Campaign Details
LIVE IT, Jeans 4 Justice’s new Community Action Project in which individuals choose one or more personal challenges to accomplish with the support of a Coach, Captain, and Team during the month of April; Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Participants will use the challenge as a platform to tell their story of why they are taking a stand against sexual violence and how they see themselves as a part of the ripple to create healthy relationships and impact social change! Throughout the Challenge teammates will collectively create a video documenting their experience of working towards achieving their Challenge. The film is their working journal to create and express the culture of their team by sharing stories, vision, motivation and any life lessons they learn along the way while participating in LIVE IT. Each challenge will document the story in many creative ways throughout the Challenge trainings, community events, awareness campaigns, and fundraising opportunities during the month of April. The story can also be woven into the Challenge day itself; art, fashion, music and fitness can be used in innovative ways to express what this movement means to the team, collectively and individually. For example, Skydive can wear Jeans 4 Justice denim, Dive 4 Justice can choreograph a dance that expresses a story through movement, Speak 4 Justice can perform spoken word. There is no limit to what is possible!
THE CHALLENGE: Climb 4 Justice
Team members of this challenge will learn how to or improve their rock-climbing skills as an outlet of expression that tells their story and expresses their passion for supporting this community action project. During the month of April, team members will work together to reach a collaborative fundraising goal of $5,000 while training for their outdoor rock climb day. Team members will be offered two weekly classes led by the Coach, a trained expert, who will support you in the process and provide at least 2 technique classes (valued at $150 per person). In early May the team will do their outdoor climb (valued at $100 per person) led by our sponsors Positive Adventures.
