The organizers of Earthdance San Diego and Los Angeles unite as one to bring you the 4th annual Earthdance music and arts festival on Saturday September 26th at Petco Park's, “Park at the Park", Southern California’s dance music event to celebrate the end of summer!
Following the tradition of events such as Woodstock 40 years ago that brought together 400,000 people together, and LovEvolution (formerly known as Love Parade and Lovefest) that now entertains over 100,000 in the heart of San Francisco, Earthdance is an event that has been in existence for 13 years and held in over 300 locations across the globe. On September 26th, you have the opportunity to join thousands of beautiful like-minded people of all ages celebrating dance, music, love and peace in America’s Finest City!
The highlight of the event is the Prayer for Peace, a profound and powerful moment that unifies our intentions for world peace and healing. At 4 pm in San Diego, our city is simultaneously linked up to the rest of the world for the prayer. Don’t miss this amazing experience!
Since 2004, Earthdance has chosen a Global Focus to further unite events around the world. This year’s focus is "Blessing the Children." Events around the world will focus on causes that support children both locally and internationally, and we have proudly chosen Green Wave and NextAid as our charities for Earthdance 2009, in support of their commitment to build a sustainable community center for the youth in Kenya by 2010.
