Taylor's Trip to Zambia for Sustainable Farming Project
Campaign Details
Have you ever heard the saying, "For such a time as this"?
My son Taylor has spent the last two years learning all there is to know about sustainable farming. As many of you know, his great grandfather, grandfather and dad have farming in their blood, and I sense that he has inherited those genes.
Taylor has been apart of Change This World, Inc. from the beginnng, and has helped in the facilitating, packing and distribution of over 8,000,000 meals across the world. This project is exciting because it will allow Change This World, Inc. to be engaged in developing the next stage in providing food on a more sustainable basis.
Taylor's journey and passion for farming begin in China, after visiting after his highschool graduation, he had the chance to learn about farming in a rural villiage setting. Since then he has had the opportunity to serve a 8 month internship in Fairview, NC at the Lord's Acre, learing about sustainable farming Taylor has also had numerous volunteering opportunities at various sustainable farming operations including grass fed beef, poultry, pastured pork and organic dairy.
Taylor has recently been introduced to a program called Farming God's Way, and he has been asked to assist in these efforts over a 7 week summer internship in Zambia, Africa. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to take the skills and passions that God has given Taylor and apply them in a setting that will impact communities for generations and hearts for eternity.
Thank you VERY much for prayerfully considering supporting Taylor's efforts, both in prayer and if possible, financialy. If you have any questions or comments you can email Taylor directly at taylor.s.hooper@gmail.com. His internship will be at Africa's Child, and you can find them online at africaschild.info.
Blessings and thanks for your encouragement and support,
Steve Hooper
