The Imerman Angels "What's Your Date?" Campaign raises funds and awareness by honoring and celebrating cancer stories.
Millions among us are battling cancer, with an estimated 15,000 pediatric and 1.5 million new adult diagnoses each year just in the United States. Despite such a far-reaching presence, cancer manages to leave many people feeling isolated and alone. For a person newly diagnosed, there is no substitute for a mentor, a veteran of cancer, ready to guide a new patient through the recovery process.
At Imerman Angels, we match cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers with Mentor Angels, veterans of the same cancer experience, trained to provide support during and after treatment.
Our “What’s Your Date?” campaign asks you to choose a date meaningful to your cancer story, create a page to share your story, and raise funds and awareness for Imerman Angels. With your participation, we can honor and celebrate these extraordinary stories and together ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
