All donations made through StayClassy are processed by PayPal. This means you get the cheapest, fastest, and most secure possible transactions. Donations are deposited instantly into the non-profit's account, and are tax-deductible to the donor.

Nothing. StayClassy is 100% free of charge to nonprofits, members, and event planners. There are no setup fees or monthly subscriptions.

No. While there are many benefits to becoming a StayClassy Member, it is absolutely not a requirement to donate or purchase event tickets.

Yes. In fact, we've included a full suite of donor analytics and communication tools for registered non-profits. Any time someone donates, purchases a ticket, or becomes a supporter of your Charity Profile, their information will be included in the Donor Analytics section of your Administrator Dashboard.

Absolutely not. If you have a system that's working for you, we encourage you to continue using it. The beauty of StayClassy is that you can use it to compliment any of your existing fundraising or donor management systems. All of StayClassy's reports and contact lists are exportable to EXCEL and other commonly used file formats.

StayClassy is the social media solution your nonprofit has been waiting for.

StayClassy's membership is comprised primarily of students and young professionals. They're a community of dynamic individuals with a passion for giving back, proven to be one of the most philanthropically minded generations of our time. They're active, inspiring, and engaged with the world around them. In short, they're your next generation of donors.

We'll promote your organization in a variety of ways. First, by finding out what our members care about, we're able to recommend your organization and fundraising events to the people most likely to want to contribute. We also have a growing network of media affiliates nationwide that will help us promote all the charitable activities on StayClassy that are happening in their markets.

Additionally, your fundraising initiatives are posted in different areas around our site Ð on your Charity Profile, rotated on our events pages and homepage, and can be filtered by interest and location. Your events may even be featured in some of our newsletters.

StayClassy caters to nonprofit organizations of all sizes. There are no fees, so the platform works on any budget. Some organizations will use volunteers to manage their profiles, others will have a dedicated staff person running StayClassy as the portal for all of their online fundraising and outreach activities. It's entirely up to you, but like anything else Ð the more effort you put in, the more you'll get back in return.

Yes. In fact, you can use our robust communication tools to stay in touch with your entire organization Ð from notices that affect all chapters nationwide, to internal memos to your staff and volunteers. You can even invite affiliates that aren't currently on StayClassy to register and take administrative control of their profiles.

When a StayClassy member wants to host a fundraising event on your behalf, an event request appears in your Administrator Dashboard. You'll have the option to approve or deny any event, as well as to work with the event planner to turn a questionable event into something that your organization does approve of. No fundraising events are posted on StayClassy without first being approved by the beneficiary organization.

Yes. As long as you have a valid EIN# and a PayPal account, you'll be able to establish a Charity Profile on StayClassy, with all the tools and privileges that entails. If for some reason your nonprofit status is not approved, the donations you receive will not be tax-deductible to the donors. We recommend you acknowledge that fact in the thank you notes you send to donors, and consult an attorney if you have any confusion around this issue.

Absolutely. The StayClassy Donor Management system accepts manual entries, as well as uploads from a variety of email address books and commonly used file formats, including Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and vCards. We recommend that uploading your donor database is one of the first things you do when setting up your profile. Telling your members you're here is the best way to get them donating, volunteering, and creating fundraising events on your behalf.
