Invisible Children is going to the frontline of the war in central Africa to protect the people affected by Joseph Kony's violence. Since 1986, 25,000 children have been abducted by Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). Now it's up to us to go to the frontline of our communities, telling this story and raising the money needed for Invisible Children's life-saving projects.

My dear friends, family, and random strangers thank you in advance for the prayer and financial support you will be giving to me.

Invisible Children started out with 3 young college students. Jason, Bobby and Laren traveled to Africa in 2003 looking for a story. they found their story in Northern Uganda. They discovered that a mad man named Joseph Kony had been killing civilians, abduction young boy's to become child soldiers for his army, and raping women and girls and taking them to be his wives. Joseph's army the LRA ( The Lord's Resistance Army) has moved out of Uganda because of IC's efforts in raising awareness and getting bills passed to arrest Kony. There is a  down side to Joseph being run out of Uganda and that that he and his army have moves through Southern Sudan, Central African Republic and The Democratic Republic of Congo. he has been at  his old ways of pillaging, killing,rape, and abducting. In the areas he hides out in the Congo there are very remote communities. The Congolese have no idea who Joseph is and why he is there. This year marks 25 years of this war. It is the longest running war in Africa and it needs to stop now! Jason, Laren and Bobby have dedicated 8 years to put an end to this war. Which brings me to why I am doing this fundraiser and how you can help. In order  to stop Kony from abducting and killing IC's has been putting up radio towers in strategic places in the Congo so that each community can worn the next community or village that the LRA have been spotted and they should seek a hiding place. There are many more radio towers needed and so that where you all come to the picture. I need your help to purchase a radio tower to save many Congolese people's lives. my personal goal is at $2,500 as of right now. I will be raising it $2,500 every time I raise $2,500. We have till December 14th to raise $1,000,000! I know we can do it!
