Welcome to The Pittsburgh South Bladder Cancer Walk!
DID YOU KNOW???
Did you know that bladder cancer is the 5th most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United states, yet most people know nothing about it! This lack of public awareness leaves many bladder cancer patients feeling isolated and alone, and it is the main reason why there is so little support for research on bladder cancer and lack of advancement in treatment over the past twenty years!
WANT TO HELP???
Do you want to help raise money to increase awareness about this under-recognized, under-funded disease, so that no one has to go through their bladder cancer journey alone?
WHAT CAN YOU DO???
Here's what you can do! Join us on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Grant's Grove in South Park! You will meet people living with bladder cancer, survivors, supporters, friends, and family who are joining forces with walkers from all across the country! After gathering at Grant's Grove in South Park, we will be walking on Corrigan Drive, as a team, on behalf of the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. We will be walking and raising money to advance bladder cancer research, education, and awareness..
HOW CAN YOU JOIN THE WALK AND HELP RAISE MONEY???
We would love to have you join our walk and make a donation to our team! Just follow these easy steps!!
The process is fast, easy, and secure, and it goes towards a great cause!
To sign up for the walk and join our team, just click the Join Team button above. You can also set up your own personal fundraising page that will be linked to our team page. Ask your friends and family to make a donation using your page and together we will raise money, "AS A TEAM!"
