Welcome to UGA's National High Five Awareness Day page! This is the first step in becoming apart of NHFD and raising money for cancer research. The first step is to scroll down and read what NHFD is all about!!!

Done with that? Now go ahead and join this awesome event and make sure you register with UGA's page! You'll get the chance to create your own fundraising page and every dollar you earn will go towards UGA's goal as well! And did you see the word PRIZES somewhere? That's right! When you have reached the $100 donation mark, you'll receive your very own National High Five Day t-shirt to wear April 19th to show everyone just how serious you are at raising money for cancer research AND for getting 55 high fives!

Be sure to send your page links out to friends, families, extended relatives who once sent you money for graduation, etc... Also, be sure to keep checking back on this page to see just where your donations are helping raise awareness right here on campus!

The goal is 55 high-fives in one day.

Join the National High-5-A-Thon For Cancer Research today! It's easy: 

#1. Register through the "Join Team" button, and you'll get your own participation page to customize with your picture and your goal for how much you hope to raise for this important cause. 

#2. Send your page to friends and family and ask them to make donations for cancer research. As they donate, you'll be entered in drawings for fun prizes. 

Then #3....

Give as many high-fives as you can as part of the National High-5-A-Thon. High-five your friends, family, classmates, co-workers, partners and pets! All for a great cause!

Approximately 2 in 5 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. April is Cancer Control Month and the funds raised in this event go to four cutting-edge research institutes:
