********INFORMATION ABOUT THE WALK********
DATE: SATURDAY MAY 5TH , 2012
LOCATION: HECKSCHER PARK- HUNTINGTON NY, MAIN STREET NY 11743. WALK WILL BE TAKING PLACE AROUND THE POND
TIME: WALK STARTS AT11AM- 1PM. REGISTRATION STARTS: 10:30 AM. THERS NO CHARGE TO WALK. BUT DONATION WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE PLACE AT REGISTRATION AND AFTER THE WALK IS OVER AS WELL. ALL DONATIONS ARE TRULY APPRECIATED. 
T-SHIRT SIZES NEED TO BE TOLD ME ALL WHOM ARE WALKING BY APRIL 5TH. IF SIZES ARE NOT PROVIDED IM UNABLE TO GET THE T-SHIRTS FOR THE WALK.
About Mamma Mickey
As you may all know (or not), my mom is a Bladder Cancer Survivor. In 2009 mom got diagnosis with superficial bladder cancer which was treated. We thought we were out of woods, until a year later it showed it's ugly face again. August 2010 we were told that mom had stage 2 bladder cancer and that is when the bumpy road started. Chemotherapy started in September of 2010 until December of 2010. Mom had a difficult decision to make of which diversion she was going to choose because she had to undergo a complete removal of her bladder. BCAN and all of its wonder people referred my mom to several people who had gone through what my mom was going to go through and they helped her make the decision on which diversion would be best for her. February of 2011 mom underwent her surgery and although this past year she had some bumps in the road the first couple of months, she is now doing GREAT. We all are so grateful and thankful each and every day that we have our "super mom".
