A group of us from TJ have started the National High-5-A-Thon For Cancer Research.
The concept is based on the model of a charity run/walk -- but instead of running 5k, more than 150 participants nationwide (including about a dozen TJHSST alums) will be giving 55 high-fives on National High Five Day, April 19th... a holiday started by TJ grads and friends back in 2002.
We'd greatly appreciate your donation to this event supporting cancer research!
The funds raised go to our four cutting-edge cancer research partners: the V Foundation for Cancer Research; the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute; the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the Gateway for Cancer Research.
Thanks so much for any and all support -- and if TJ folks can raise $2K, Bryan Oh has agreed to shave his head at the 15-year reunion! Just kidding, that will require unwittingly wrestling him and doing it anyway....
