Ohio - bike MS: Venture the Valley 2012

The Steamrollers had a very good 2011 MS Bike Tour, raising a little over $37,000. We have been over the $50,000 mark in 2008 and 2009 and we are hopeful that we will get back above that level in 2012 with your help, our wonderful individual and corporate sponsors. We want to especially recognize the continued support of Pure Protein, our corporate sponsor, who provides the team with Jerseys, T-Shirts, Water Bottles, Pure Protein products and a $1,000 Team Donation each year.

Pure Protein is a major supporter of the National MS Society nationwide and we would encourage you to visit their website at www.pureprotein.net; click on the "events" tab and then the "MS Society info" tab. We were the 2nd largest team in 2011 with 57 registered riders.  We were the 3rd highest fundraising team. Our team goals for 2012 will be to again be the largest team and reach 75 members and once again get back above $50,000 in donations. With your continued support we know we can reach these goals and do our small part to help find a cure for MS. If you are looking for a friendly, fun and helpful team to join,(not to mention great jerseys, etc.) we would love to have you consider us. We have acquired most of our current team through word of mouth of existing team members and new folks participating in our training rides.

We will once again offer a full slate of 19 weekly Saturday morning training rides starting April 14th in Liberty Township. These rides are listed on the MS Bike tour website, so go check them out. You do not need to be a Steamroller to ride these rides with us. We have lots of non-Steamrollers ride with us year after year. There will be several weeks at 20, 30, 40, 50 and 62 miles.
