Give a gift that changes lives!
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for Jobs for Youth (JFY) Chicago! I have been a volunteer for JFY for seven years and became Chair of the Associate Board this year. I have continued to support JFY for so many years because of their exceptional programs and proven success transforming the lives of young adults in our community.
For over 30 years, Jobs For Youth has helped young men and women from low-income families become a part of the economic mainstream; and, in the process, provided the business community with motivated, job-ready workers. JFY's programs are free and serve 17-24 year olds with a variety of services, including pre-employment training, GED preparation, computer training and job placement services. More importantly, they provide their clients with confidence and hope for their future. As their tag line says, "A Life. A Job. A Future." For more information, visit www.jfychicago.org
Please take a minute to watch the video above to learn a little more about JFY.
The Spring Escape! On Thursday, April 19th, the JFY Associate Board's annual spring event will take place at Macy's on State Street from 6-9pm. This year's event will be a fun-filled evening featuring some of Chicago's newest fashion designers, a fashion-focused auction, gourmet cuisine, networking with other young professionals and much more! To purchase tickets to the event, follow this link http://www.stayclassy.org/chicago/events/the-2012-spring-escape/e9352 If you are unable to attend the event but would like to make a donation, just click on the Donate Now button above on my page.
I hope you will consider supporting JFY by making a donation through my page**. For those of you who are new donors to the organization, your gift will be matched by a generous donor. The process is fast, easy and secure. Thanks so much for your support... and please dont forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!
** This website will list your name and gift under JFY's page. If you would like to remain anonymous, please check the "make my gift anonymous" box in the list under the dollar amount.
