Help me support Amazon 5000 for the Cure by making a donation.  The Amazon 5000 was started through the passion of Noga and Mickey Grosman.  Mickey is a pure adventurer and a cancer survivor.  Mickey and Noga have a mission to raise money for Cancer vivtims and their familes.  All too often Cancer strikes familes, not allowing one or both parent to work.  Insurmountabe medical and living costs build up while a family member is fighting cancer.  By your donation, you can help support the cause of giving back to cancer-stricken familes in need.  Every dollar will help.  You donation is important.  The goal of he Amazon 5000 is to raise 2 million dollars.  Only a small portion of this amount will be used for the expedition and related expenses.  The money will be awarded via grants from various medical institutions to families and vivtims in need. 

The Amazon 5000 is a 5000 mile expedition led by Mickey from the Pacific to the Atlantic while crossing the Andes and the Amazon River re-tracing Francisco del Orellana's failed expedition route of 1541.  I am assisting and participating in the Amazon 5000 Expedition in memoory of my mother and maternal and paternal grandfather who all succumbed to the affects of Cancer.
