On October 28, 2008 I lost my husband Kevin to a rare cancer, angiosarcoma. He was 36. I was 24.
Within the next few months I would connect and meet with a slew of amazing people: widows and widowers alike.
In 2011 I attended my first ever Camp Widow in San Diego, California with a girlfriend and was amazed at the impact that these people would have on my life.
Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation makes Camp Widow a reality each year for widow(er)s around the world. They support widow(er)s and their families in the difficult struggles they face while grieving.
My goal is to raise $375.00 in addition to what I have raised so far to donate a campership for Camp Widow East or West - please help today.
