I'm participating in a National High-5-A-Thon to raise money for cancer research!
I am participating in memory of Robin Edge, Greg's & Liza's dad and my late husband, who showed us that a life spent doing good and having fun is a life well-lived. Robin died of a malignant brain tumor January 19, 2004 at the age of 57.
Robin would be proud to witness his son's contribution to the NHF Project. It reflects their shared values of finding joy in working on behalf of others. In memory of my late husband and in support of my son, I plan to do my part by giving 55 high-fives on National High Five Day, April 19th. Donations will help fund cutting edge cancer research which can save precious future lives. The following organizations are beneficiaries:
- The Gateway For Cancer Research in Illinois
- The Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute in San Diego
- The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle
- The V Foundation For Cancer Research in North Carolina.
