Our goal is $25,000. Can you help us reach that goal?
CONGA started in 2008 as a good deed. A Canadian woman, Flo Fuhr, planned to ride a motorcycle from Florida, U.S.A. to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Flo's friends in Donna Pallidino's Women Who Ride (WWR) motorcycle forum agreed to accompany her on her transcontinental trip and along the way, to fight breast cancer with a fundraiser.
Since that epic ride, the Women Who Ride forum and countless others have raised money as a group known as CONGA for the National Breast Cancer Foundation in the U.S, and for our friends across the border, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This year, we hope to cross the $100,000 mark!
CONGA's motto is "Kick Cancer to the Curb!" and we know that early detection is key to a breast cancer cure. The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need. NBCF programs provide women help for today and hope for tomorrow.
The donation process is fast, easy, and secure. A receipt suitable for your IRS taxes will be emailed to you. We truly appreciate any support you can provide; no amount is too small.
