I appreciate you being a part of my life and would love to my upcoming adventure with you. In 2012 I plan to volunteer in Rwanda with Kids Play International (KPI) to help educate kids through sport.

Volunteering is something I have always been passionate about, and each day I will be working hard, teaching kids about discipline, sportsmanship, respect between genders, health and nutrition as well as introducing them to new sports. This will be taught through KPI’s Let’s Play!  CommunityProgram which uses sport to teach important life skills and principals to succeed in everyday life.  

I am asking you to support my volunteer work with Kids Play International because I believe real change happens person to person and that all kids deserve the chance to learn and play. 

Please know your money will go directly towards my volunteer trip and the needed resources for the sports program that will make a direct impact in these kid’s lives; including scholarships to ensure the kids have the opportunity for continued education. Day to day I will be putting your contribution to work, and upon my return will provide you with a short letter along with photos from my experiences. Throughout the trip you can check back in here for updates from Rwanda.
