heshima, n. (Swahili). respect: honor: dignity

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! This year, I thought about doing something different, something that could have a direct impact on the lives of women and girls. This year, I am donating my 28th birthday to Heshima Kenya: an organization who provides comprehensive social services and special assistance to refugee minors.  

Help Me Reach My Goal:

In lieu of a birthday gift or birthday drink I am asking for a donation to Heshima Kenya. Consider making a full donation of $28 in honor of my birthday, or even a $10 or $2 donation to help me reach my goal. 

If you can't afford to donate please consider sharing my page through Twitter, Facebook and e-mail to help spread awareness for Heshima Kenya. 

In the true spirit of giving I will also be giving away prizes to donors which include:

• A pair of any available Lincoln Hall or Schubas show. 
• Julien's famous smoked meats. Recipent will choose between 5 lbs. of smoked pulled pork, wings, chicken drumsticks or brisket and 1 bottle of homemade BBQ sauce. This prize goes the highest contributor!
