This year I decided I would look for fun 5K races I could do with the kids and I came accross the Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge.  Not only did it look fun, but it raises money for a good cause.  This will be my first time participating.  

This event is raising funds for the Challenged Athletes Foundation's Operation Rebound program, which supports American military personnel, veterans and first responders with permanent physical disabilities. CAF provides unparalleled opportunities to pursue active, athletic lifestyles by offering access to funding for equipment and training and competition expenses, Military Medical Center Physical Training (MMCPT) and sports clinics.
