As a mom of a special needs child I know how challenging it is for them to be in the world. My son has diagnosed with High Functioning Autism, ADHD, Apraxia of speech, Anxiety Disorder and mutliple learning challenges. Life isoften hard for him however having support systems like KIT around to train programs how to include children just like my son is invalueable.
Parenting special needs can be exhausting as well as rewarding. Knowing your child is safe, knowing they are in a place that is respectful and understanding of their unique needs is such a relief, it increases family quality of life.
So please support me by donating as I go over the edge, feeling the fear and doing it anyway!
On August 18, 2012 the spectacular Manchester Grand Hyatt, the west coast's tallest waterfront building, becomes the setting for a unique fundraising event benefiting the inclusion of children with disabilities. No matter what our physical ability, we all face our fears in the same way when we choose to rappel from the 33rd story of the Manchester Grand Hyatt! Make a grand impact on your community and touch thousands of children's lives. Join Kids Included Together and be part of our Fearless Fundraising Team for Over the Edge 2012!
