Welcome to my fundraising page!

I have recently applied and was accepted to Junior State of America Summer School program at Stanford University. At Stanford I will have  the opportunity to partake in an Advanced Placement Macroeconomics course for 4 weeks from July 1-22. The JSA summer program I believe will offer me a challenging and dynamic educational experience. JSA provides great academic enrichment, full-on college experience and great opportunities for Leadership.

Through out high school, I have actively participated in other programs such as the National Institute of Health Biotechnology program, and I am curretly a student representive on the Montgomery County Public Schools Board of Health. I have also participated in the selective countywide leadership program in Montgomery County, Student Emerging Leaders Program, which is designed to nurture student interest in national, state, and local government by inspiring high school students  to become the next generation of leaders through interactive student debate.

I view the Macroeconomics course at Stanford as a way to broaden my interests as I try to discover my future career goals. I recently took a an American goverment class which put some emphasis on Economics. The course sparked my interest and led me to apply to the JSA Summer program.
