My name is Josselin Lathuras. I was born in the country of Guatemala in the year 1996. I was adopted by Christine Lathuras in the year of 2001. SInce then I have been volunteering all around the world. For example I have volunteered  alot in Jamaica  with "Great Shape : Jamaica: A Thousand Smiles" to do some dentistry work with my mom and two years ago I volunteered in my own country to build schools with this group " The Giving Project" with Kate Kurran.

I really love to help people all around the world!! One of my favorite quotes said by the Buddhas is , " If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path." When I help other people, I not only making myself happy inside for helping those in need but  I am also making those in need happy too.  "We bring the gift of education to the developing world's children. We make learning possible by building safe and inviting learning environments, driving the supply of critical learning materials, training teachers and building the capacity of parents to help their children learn"-The Giving Project.

I would like to continue building schools in my own country so this year I am going with at least 10 other of students from my school and finishing of building a school in Guatemala but the only way I can go on this trip is bny fundraising at least $3,000 .
