Welcome to the Pi Kappa Alpha JMU National Breast Cancer Foundation fundraising page!

We are the Men of Pi Kappa Alpha at James Madison University and our chapter is raising funds to help with the National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need.  We are hosting our annual Piketoberfest Philanthropy week to help raise awareness and we are asking for your help!

This fundraiser is set to take place from Monday, October 21st, until Wednesday October 31st, and you have until October 31st to help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000

Raising awareness for breast cancer is important to us because our brother Michael Henriques recently lost his mother to breast cancer, and many of our brothers have family or friends that have been directly affected by this horrible disease.  We hope that you will join us in the fight, to bring support to breast cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones. NBCF’s programs provide women help for today and hope for tomorrow. You can find out more about NBCF at http://nbcf.org.

The donation process is fast, easy, and secure. We truly appreciate any support you can provide; no amount is too small.  Help us reach our goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to our page!

Thanks so much for your generosity!

About

The Organization:

National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need. NBCF accomplishes this mission through various initiatives. NBCF programs provide women help for today and hope for tomorrow. NBCF's Mammography Program currently impacts over 40 states across the country by providing free mammograms to underserved women nationwide through medical facilities within our network. Any money donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation will go to fund mammograms for women who cannot afford them. Because of the generous donations of both individuals and corporations, we have developed strong partnerships with medical facilities, associations and corporations across the country. We are grateful for their continued efforts in reaching out to save lives every day.
