26.2 for Ability

On October 7th, 2012, Mina Faye Mirhoseini will be Running 26.2 for Ability in the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon to raise money for The Ability Center and those impacted by disABILITIES. (http://www.milwaukeelakefrontmarathon.org/). The Ability Center's vision is:
"To build an athletic and fitness center, not just “accommodated for” or “accessible to” people with disABILITIES, but designed specifically for their therapeutic & recreational needs in a positive and empowering environment where they will be able and encouraged to excel alongside their family & friends."
Mina Faye understands how incredibly important and rewarding physical fitness is, and believes that EVERYONE deserves to reap those rewards without ANY hesitation. She is so inspired The Ability Center's vision that she decided to run 26.2 miles, with a goal of raising $100 per mile to sponsor 26 square feet of The Ability Center's indoor track.
