Dominating the landscape like no other mountain - Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 5895 metres. Your challenge is to reach its summit and in so doing raise funds to help eliminate poverty through education in its own country - Tanzania!

High season, which is January-March and September-November is a good time to go simply because the weather conditions are safest for climbing. (We have arranged dates for a team of 8 to climb Kilimanjaro.  If these dates don't work, please let us know at least 2 months in advance and we will accomodate groups of 4 or more)

Your hike is at least 6-7 days for maximum success. Any shorter and you will not be properly acclimatized. Routes vary in degree of difficulty, traffic and scenic beauty. The least difficult routes are Marangu and Rongai; the more difficult routes are Machame and Shira.  We will accomodate all hikers from the novice to the experienced.  Our reputable tour guides will help you throughout your stay in Tanzania.

Price varies on time of year - total cost of your hike including airfare would cost approximately $5,000.00+.

We can help with all aspects of planning your charity climb from looking at the best time of year to climb Kilimanjaro to choosing the best route for your group. Our Kilimanjaro Facts is an encyclopedia of everything you could possibly think about to make your charity climb successful. All the members of your group can recieive this information and make sure they know everything they want to about the challenge they are taking on. And of course we are on hand to answer any other queries you or they may have. In terms of promotion we can help you with press releases and we can also arrange a full range of promotional products from team shirts for your Kilimanjaro climb to an Information Pack which contains loads of practical advice on how to raise funds.

How it works: You fulfill a lifetime dream: you train and prepare to reach the summit and you gain sponsorship for your efforts! Your supporters can donates $5.00 or $500 to help build your momentum! You can either fundraise the entire amount with a minimum of raising $6,000.00 or pay for the trip and fundraise for our charity! Your choice!

Why hike for us? We are a small non profit organization located in Massachusetts, USA and Arusha Tanzania. We run 100% of volunteers and work with heartfelt compassion. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to the building of the School of St. Nicholas in the village of Olosiva.

While in Tanzania see our work first hand. Accomodations at the Ilboru Safari Lodge will provide you with an opportunity to visit St. Judas Thaddeus Catholic Church nearby.  It is our first project completed in April 2009. You could also have our associates take you to the future site of the School of St. Nicholas in the Village of Olosiva. Adding an extra day or two to your itinerary would enable you to visit and meet our friends and those we serve first hand!  Contact us today for more information and turn your trip of a lifetime into fighting poverty through education in Tanzania.
