Saturday, September 29th marks the 4th Annual "A Ride of Inspiration", a charity motorcycle event and fundraising event for DS Action (www.dsaction.com) and supporting individuals with Down syndrome! This year, Fun Bike Center and San Diego Harley-Davidson have generously offered to host the start and finish points of the Poker Ride.
Motorcyclists will check-in and/or register for the Poker Ride at Fun Bike Center, 5755 Kearny Villa Road, San Diego, 92123, from 9am – 10am (www.funbike.com). Then, Riders will begin their journey, stopping at various locations throughout San Diego. Beginning at 11:30am, the community is invited to join the After (Ride) Party and Poker Walk at San Diego Harley-Davidson, 5600 Kearny Mesa Road, San Diego, 92111 (www.sandiegoharley.com). The After Party festivities will include opportunities to participate in the Poker Walk, Raffle Drawings, visit the food and vendor booths, enjoy live music and entertainment, play in the Kids Zone, meet local celebrities and much more. Be sure to pick up some extra tickets for some wonderful raffle items too! A booth at San Diego Harley-Davidson will be designated for anyone who needs to check-in or register for the Poker Walk for those who are not participating in the Poker Ride. Additional meal tickets for $5 are available at the event.
This will be a day of INSPIRATION for all who attend!

Fees: Poker Ride & Poker Walk - $20 online pre-registration; $25 day of event registration - this includes a meal ticket. (The first 100 Riders/Walkers will receive an event pin.) Virtual Riders - $20 online registration only. Additional food tickets available for $5 at San Diego Harley-Davidson.
You will not want to miss the exhilarating experience of watching as the motorcycles take off on the ride to raise awareness for individuals with Down Syndrome. As they ride through San Diego County they will be drawing a 'Poker Hand' at 5 locations or 'Poker Stops'. Donations raised during this inspirational event will directly support DS Action projects and the Down Syndrome Center at Rady Children's Hospital.
About the charity, DS Action:
DS Action, a San Diego based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, partnered with Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego to establish the first Down Syndrome Center in all of Southern California. The Down Syndrome Center opened on January 15, 2008. DS Action relies on the generosity of the community to provide the funding necessary to allow children with Down syndrome an equal opportunity to receive the medical services and early intervention required to reach their full potential.
